Blogging about biologging
I attended a conference in Monterey, California a couple of weeks ago on the subject of ‘biologging’- that is to say the science of attaching archival electronic tags to animals. It was an amazing conference- the location, the quality of the talks, the amazing exploits of all sorts of animals…I really enjoyed it and was inspired by it.
The next Biologging conference is in three years time, and eeliad will, I hope, feature large. There were certainly a lot of interest in the project when I mentioned it in my talk, and some of the tools that I saw being used to analyse the data from other biologging projects will be really helpful.
